From zero to streaming in about five minutes. No torrents, no setup headaches — just sign in.

Make a Plex account
Sign up free at plex.tv with any email. Then send that same email address to an admin in the Discord so we can add you.

Accept your invites
You'll get two emails — a library share request and a friend request. Accept both and the Smooth Brain library shows up in your Plex.

Install the app
Grab Plex on your TV, phone, or browser from plex.tv/apps. Smart TVs, Roku, Apple TV, Fire Stick — it's all covered.

Press play
Sign in and you'll see the Smooth Brain library right alongside your own. Pick something and start watching — that's it.

How much does it cost?
Nothing. Smooth Brain is a private server shared with friends and family — there is no charge and no subscription.
Can I watch on my TV?
Yes. Plex runs on basically everything — smart TVs, Roku, Apple TV, Fire Stick, game consoles, phones, tablets, and any web browser.
How do I request a movie or show?
Just add it to your Plex Watchlist. Anything you add is pulled onto the server automatically, usually within a minute or two — no need to message anyone.
Which quality setting should I use?
Set playback quality to "Maximum" or "Original" — the exact wording depends on your device — so you stream the real file on the server instead of a downscaled conversion. For movies, choose between the 1080p and 4K version from the title screen before you press play; you can't switch versions from inside the player.
Can I share my login with others?
Please do not. Each person should have their own Plex account on the share so playback and watch history stay reliable for everyone.
One account per person. Ask an admin to add new people — do not pass logins around.
Requests go in your Watchlist. Add a title to your Plex Watchlist — no need to DM the admins.
Do not re-share the library. The server is invite-only for a reason — keep it that way.
